Special Service for Maker Faire 2024 on Mare Island

San Francisco Bay Ferry is the official transportation partner of the 2024 Maker Faire Bay Area, which will be held on Mare Island on October 19 and 20. SF Bay Ferry will offer a shuttle between Vallejo and Mare Island to help attendees from San Francisco and the Peninsula get to and from the event with ferries running between Vallejo and San Francisco all day. There is also a special post-event ferry departing from Mare Island at 5:15 PM headed back to San Francisco.

All shuttle and ferry service is offered first come, first served. While the shuttle between Vallejo and Mare Island is free, normal fares will apply for the Vallejo-San Francisco trips. We recommend that passengers use Clipper if paying only for themselves and the SF Bay Ferry app if paying fares for multiple passengers.
