Chase Center Ferry Service

Chase Center ferry service is available to and from Oakland and Alameda for all Golden State Warriors home games for the 2023-24 NBA season. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Where is ferry service offered from?

San Francisco Bay Ferry offers ferry service to Chase Center from the Main Street Alameda and Oakland ferry terminals.

Where is the ferry terminal at Chase Center be located?

The terminal is at Pier 48 1/2, a half-mile north of Chase Center off of Terry A. Francois Blvd. The walk takes most passengers about 12-15 minutes. Here's a map.

When does the ferry leave Alameda and Oakland?

This varies depending on the start time. Check out the listings on the ticket purchase site or your tickets to confirm.

The ferry arrives at Pier 48.5 approximately 25 minutes after departing Oakland.

When does the ferry leave Chase Center?

The ferry leaves Pier 48.5 near Chase Center 30 minutes after the final buzzer but no later than 11:30 p.m.

How much does the ferry cost?

Regular adult fares are $10.50 each way per passenger, and $8.00 each way per passenger for children (ages 5-18), seniors (65 or older) or disabled passengers. Children under the age of five can ride for free with paying adults. You must add a free under-5 pass to your ticket purchase to get the free seat for a young child.

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available on a reservation basis on our website and the San Francisco Bay Ferry app. There may be limited walk-up tickets available if trips have not sold out. We highly recommend buying ferry tickets early to ensure you get a seat.

If ferry service to Chase Center is cancelled due to any reason, refunds will be offered.

Can I use Clipper card to pay the fare?

No, you'll need to purchase tickets using the online, reservation-based system. You cannot use Clipper to board direct Chase Center ferry service.

Are concessions available on board?

Concessions are usually available on pre-game trips to Chase Center, barring staff shortages for our concessionaire. No alcoholic beverages, ice chests or coolers may be brought onboard the boat. There are no onboard alcohol sales on the return trip.

Is there free parking at the Oakland terminal?

Oakland ferry riders can use the garage at 101 Washington Street for up to 12 hours free of charge with ticket validation within the ferry terminal.

What about Vallejo, Richmond, Alameda Seaplane, Harbor Bay and South San Francisco?

Due to terminal constraints, San Francisco Bay Ferry is only be able to offer Alameda and Oakland ferry service to Chase Center at this time.

Fans can take normal evening ferry service from Vallejo, Richmond, Alameda Seaplane and Harbor Bay to the San Francisco Ferry Building and walk, bike or take transit to Chase Center provided they have a non-ferry mode to return home after the game (BART for Richmond and Harbor Bay, BART and Soltrans Red Line or Soltrans Route 82 for Vallejo). The Alameda Seaplane ferry route has a weekday 10:20 p.m. departure from Downtown S.F., but this ferry will not hold if the game runs late.

To complete your trip from the Downtown S.F. Terminal to Chase Center, take the MUNI Metro between the ferry terminal and the Chase Center. Details on how to take MUNI here. 

Will there be ferry service from Larkspur?

Golden Gate Ferry runs public ferry service between Marin County and San Francisco. Please visit their website for information.
