April 8, 2024 Schedule Change 

San Francisco Bay Ferry implemented schedule adjustments on its Vallejo route effective Monday, April 8, 2024. This service change included departure time adjustments to address service efficiency and rider feedback. Changes include: 

  • Departure time adjustments ranging from 10 to 30 minutes for some weekday afternoon trips on the Vallejo route. 
  • All other ferry schedules will remain unchanged across the system. 

Vallejo Route 

WEEKDAYS - Vallejo to Downtown S.F. 


Adjusted Departure Time: 12:50 PM -> 1:00 PM

The 12:50 PM weekday Vallejo departure will be pushed up by 10 minutes to 1:00 PM. Starting Monday, April 8, this trip will depart at 1:00 PM and arrive Downtown S.F. at 2:00 PM. This departure time is being moved up to improve the spacing between afternoon trips on this route and will improve system efficiency. 

Adjusted Departure Time: 3:00 PM -> 3:30 PM

The 3:00 PM weekday Vallejo departure will be pushed up by 30 minutes to 3:30 PM. Starting Monday, April 8, this trip will depart at 3:30 PM and arrive Downtown S.F. at 4:30 PM. This departure time is being moved up to improve the spacing between afternoon trips on this route and will improve system efficiency.  

WEEKDAYS - Downtown S.F. to Vallejo 


Adjusted Departure Time: 1:55 PM -> 2:20 PM

The 1:55 PM weekday Downtown S.F. departure will be pushed up by 25 minutes to 2:20 PM. Starting Monday, April 8, this trip will depart at 2:20 PM and arrive in Vallejo at 3:20 PM. The departure time of this trip is being adjusted in response to rider feedback and to better match ridership demand patterns.

Minor Baseball Changes for Oakland & Alameda Riders

For weeknight Giants games, pre-game departures from Main St. Alameda and Oakland have been moved up 10 minutes from prior seasons. On most weeknights with a 6:45 PM or 7:15 PM first pitch, Oracle Park ferry service will depart Main St. Alameda at 5:30 PM and will depart Oakland at 5:50 PM. This change is being made to avoid dock traffic and get fans to the ballpark earlier.

After the game, the ferry returning to Main St. Alameda and Oakland will depart 35 minutes after the final out.

Passengers should check their reserved Oracle Park ferry service ticket for confirmed departure times as this can change throughout the season based on changes to Giants start times.

All Other Routes 

No changes.

Fares
