Special Schedules in Effect July 4 and 5, 2024
SF Bay Ferry will offer an extra late-night trip between Pier 41, Downtown S.F. and the East Bay on July 4 to accommodate post-fireworks crowds headed back to Oakland & Alameda. If you are headed back to the East Bay from the Embarcadero in S.F. after the fireworks show, consider taking the ferry. Normal weekend schedules will be in effect on Thursday and Friday on all routes. Please note that this extra trip will only operate on Thursday, July 4.
In addition, weekend schedules will be in effect on Friday, July 5, on all routes.
We encourage ferry riders traveling solo to use Clipper to pay your fare – you can activate a new mobile Clipper card on their phones for free right now if you don’t have one. Paying for multiple riders? Use the SF Bay Ferry app.
