San Francisco Bay Ferry will suspend its South San Francisco route from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, through Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Large employers in the Oyster Point area near the South S.F. Ferry Terminal close their campuses between these dates. SF Bay Ferry provides commute-only service on the South S.F. route. Given the lack of demand during this holiday period, SF Bay Ferry will suspend service on this route between these dates.
Due to this closure, select trips on the Alameda Short Hop will also be suspended. See Alameda Short Hop route page for details.
All other SF Bay Ferry routes will be on normal schedules during this time period, with the exception of Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025. There is no service on any route on those two dates.
