Mr. Wunderman has served on the Board of Directors since 2015 and as Chair since 2020. He was most recently re-appointed to a six-year term in 2024 by Governor Gavin Newsom.

He is the Head of Public Affairs for California Forever. He served as the President and CEO of the Bay Area Council from 2004 through 2025. He was senior vice president of external affairs at Providian Financial Corporation from 1997 to 2004, chief of staff in the office of the Mayor of San Francisco from 1993 to 1995, and vice president and general manager at Norcal Waste Systems, Inc. from 1987 to 1991.

Ms. Moyer fills the vacancy created when Jim Wunderman was named WETA Board Chair in January 2020. Ms. Moyer’s term is effective until January 1, 2026.

Ms. Moyer is a partner at C2 Communications and a former senior managing director of Global Workplace Solutions at CBRE, a global commercial real estate services firm. Prior to 2016, she worked in various roles with the City and County of San Francisco for 20 years. This included 12 years as the executive director of the Port of San Francisco, where she collaborated with WETA on a number of projects, including the Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal Expansion Project.

Speaker of the Assembly Appointee

Ms. Alba filled a vacancy left by the resignation of Nick Josefowitz in April 2020. Ms. Alba was reappointed on Jan 1, 2024 with an expiration date of January 1, 2030.

Ms. Alba is the Co-Founder of OptiMobility Solutions and former Director of Transportation Policy & Transportation Demand Management for Stanford University. Prior to joining Stanford in 2017, Ms. Alba worked as a consultant at Trivector Traffic and a Principal at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates. Over the past two decades she has consulted and advised on hundreds of projects and policy efforts in the sustainable and emerging mobility realm. She holds dual M.S. degrees in Earth Science and Environmental Sciences from Lund University in Sweden.

Michael K. Henneberry, a Bay Area native, is the Recording Secretary for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 853 and serves on the Alameda Labor Council Executive Committee.

Realtor and Former Vallejo City Council member

Governor's Appointee

Pippin Dew was appointed to the Board by Governor Gavin Newsom in 2023. Prior to joining the agency, she served on the Vallejo City Council from 2014 through 2022. Ms. Dew is a Realtor serving the North and East Bay Areas for the last 18 years.

She has served as the President of Vallejo Main Street, President of the Solano Association of Realtors, President of the North Bay Division for the League of California Cities (where she also chaired multiple committees) and on the Executive Board for the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce.

As directed by the enabling legislation, the WETA’s Board is comprised of five members serving six year terms. The Chair and Vice Chair of the Board are appointed by the Governor. Members are appointed as follows:

(3) members appointed by the Governor, (1) member appointed by the Senate Committee on Rules, (1) member appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly
