The whole family is invited to ride the free Fairy Ferry to Children’s Fairyland’s 75th Birthday Party! Ride the ferry to Oakland to celebrate 75 dazzling years of Fairyland play.
San Francisco Bay Ferry is operating a special fairy-themed ferry from San Francisco to Oakland on the morning of Monday, September 1st. The ferry ride is free of charge, and will kick off the 75th anniversary parade and daylong celebration at Children’s Fairyland.

The morning ferry trip to Oakland/Jack London Square will board at Gate G at the Downtown San Francisco terminal.
FROM DOWNTOWN SF: Departs 7:50 a.m. / Arrives 8:15 a.m.
AC TRANSIT CONNECTION:
AC Transit fares are not covered by SF Bay Ferry.
BIKE RIDERS: Bikes are welcome on the ferry. Please see our bike policy here. A bike guide will lead riders from the ferry terminal to the parade start.
PARADE START TIME: 9:30 a.m.
PARADE START LOCATION: The parade to Children’s Fairyland will begin at the 19th St. BART station and travel along the Lake Merritt path to the entrance of Children’s Fairyland.

*SF Bay Ferry will not operate a special return trip for passengers attending the Fairyland 75th anniversary celebration. Check regular schedules for all return trips.
