Enjoy free live entertainment onboard San Francisco Bay Ferry’s Richmond route! Tides and Tunes performances will occur every final Friday of the month from May through October 2026.

Groove to performances across multiple genres, including R&B, jazz, and classical music. All Tides & Tunes events from May through October 2026 will occur onboard the Richmond to San Francisco ferry route. Join us from either side of the Bay during the following sailings:

Mr. Chubs is a local Vallejo artist will share original, smooth, and groovy music featuring oldies but goodies.
🎵 7/31: Christian Laremont
Christian Laremont, classical guitarist, plays music from the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical era as well as contemporary pieces.
🎵 8/28: LOLAH
LOLAH’s music blends soulful vocals, heartfelt pop-rock, and feel-good energy that connects people in the moment.
🎵 9/25: Emile Vinet
Emile Vinet is a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist originally from New Orleans. His jazz roots are forever present in his diverse playing style.
🎵 10/30: The Evening Hawks
The Evening Hawks are an acoustic Americana trio whose rich three-part harmonies and inventive arrangements deliver a creative spin on folk, rock, and country favorites.

Discount Paper and Mobile Tickets can be used by those 65 or older, 17 or younger or those with Medicare cards or DMV disabled parking placards.

There are four ways to pay fares.

If you are traveling alone, no. We encourage you to use Clipper to pay your fare. If you are traveling in a group, tickets can be purchased before boarding on the SF Bay Ferry mobile app. Tickets are sold as one-way only so if you are making a round-trip, simply purchase 2 one-way tickets for the ferry route you will be riding. All ferry trips are first-come, first-served.
We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before the scheduled ferry departure. All ferry trips are first-come, first-served and may fill up.
To board, you will need a valid Clipper card or Clipper on your phone. If you don’t use Clipper, you must have a valid ticket on the SF Bay Ferry app to board. Tickets may also be purchased onboard.
All live performances will take place indoors on the first floor of the vessel.
Yes. All vessels have snack bars with food and beverage offerings.
Yes. All vessels and terminal facilities are ADA accessible.
Yes. All vessels can accommodate bikes and scooters as long as they follow our bikes & scooter guidelines. Bike and scooter stowage is first come, first served. Please remember that vessels have limited capacity for stowage.
No. All passengers must disembark upon arrival at the vessel’s destination terminal. If you are making an immediate round trip, we ask you to disembark and line up for the ride back. We appreciate your cooperation!
