SF Bay Ferry has adjusted its service plan to help travelers cross the Bay during the BART system shutdown on Friday, May 9.

The ferry operator has swapped to larger vessels where possible to offer additional surge capacity given uncertainty around BART’s recovery timeline. Additional trips may be added on the Oakland route to support transbay travel.

SF Bay Ferry staff are monitoring the situation closely in collaboration with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and local transit agencies.
