Ferry & MUNI Connections

Ferry & MUNI to the game!

Direct ferry service between Vallejo and the East Bay to events at Chase Center and Oracle Park may not operate for every game. When direct ferry service is not available, game or concert goers can take regular ferry service to the Downtown S.F. Terminal and transfer to the MUNI Metro to complete their trip to the Ballpark or Chase Center.

to chase center

To Chase Center from the Downtown S.F. Terminal

TRAVEL TIME: APPROX. 30 MINS

Disembark the ferry and walk up Market St. to Market & California to enter the Embarcadero subway station.
Board any MUNI Metro train at Embarcadero Station in direction of Powell Station.
At Powell Station transfer to the T Third Line at the Union Square/Market St. Station. Follow station signs to complete the transfer to the T Third Line platform.
Stay on the train for 5 stops to the UCSF/Chase Center Station.
Get off the train at the UCSF/Chase Center Station and arrive at Chase Center.

From Chase Center to the Downtown S.F. Terminal

TRAVEL TIME: APPROX. 30 MINS

Board the T Third MUNI Metro line at UCSF/Chase Center Station on 3rd St. (in front of the arena) and ride 5 stops to the Union Square/Market St. Station.
At the Union Square/Market St. Station, transfer to all other MUNI Metro train lines headed in the direction of Embarcadero Station. Follow station signs to complete the transfer to other train platform.
Ride 2 stops and exit at Embarcadero Station and walk over to the Downtown S.F. Terminal for all regularly scheduled ferry services.

Walking

After disembarking the ferry at the Downtown S.F. Terminal, riders can walk along the Embarcadero waterfront south towards the Ballpark. The walk is approx. 25 minutes.

MUNI Metro

MUNI Metro service is available between Embarcadero & Folsom and 2nd & King St. on the N Judah Light Rail line. From the Ferry Building, walk 2 blocks south along the waterfront to Folsom St. Board at the station in the median of the street. Board any train towards “Caltrain & Ballpark”.

MUNI Metro Tickets

MUNI tickets can be purchased at all Muni Metro stations, however, during busy event periods, using Clipper to pay your fare is still the easiest option.

Ferry Tickets

For ferry service operating out of the Downtown S.F. Terminal, Clipper is accepted as a form of payment. Tickets are also available for purchase on the SF Bay Ferry mobile app.
