SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco Bay Ferry announced today it will provide additional ferry trips on the Vallejo route on Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, to assist travelers during the I-80 Westbound Carquinez (Alfred Zampa) Bridge closure.
Departing from Vallejo, two additional trips have been added to the regular route schedule:
- Departing Mare Island 1:05 PM – departing Vallejo at 1:20 PM – arriving Downtown San Francisco 2:20 PM.
- Departing Vallejo at 6:45 PM – arriving Downtown San Francisco 7:45 PM
Three additional northbound trips have been added:
- Departing Downtown San Francisco 3:25 PM – arriving Vallejo 4:25 PM
- Departing Downtown San Francisco 5:40 PM – arriving Vallejo 6:40 PM
- Departing Downtown San Francisco 7:55 PM – arriving Vallejo 8:55 PM – arriving Mare Island 9:00 PM.

To accommodate these additional trips, the agency is deploying a fourth vessel on the Vallejo weekend route, which is usually served by three.
The Vallejo terminal is located at 289 Mare Island Way. Paid parking is available near the terminal. The Mare Island terminal is located at 1050 Nimitz Avenue. Free parking is available at Mare Island. Regular one-way adult fare for this route is $10.00. Discounts are available for youth, senior and disabled riders.
