San Francisco Bay Ferry offers discounted fares to local school groups seeking to use the ferry for field trips or activities.

Who can apply
K-12 educational settings in the nine-county Bay Area, including homeschool groups and after-school organizations.
Requirements & Guidelines
Prior to submitting your request, please review the Group Reservation Guidelines (PDF).

1) Submit Request
Submit a Discounted Group Travel request by filling out the form below.
2) Wait for Approval
Upon submitting your form, we will reach out to you to confirm details of your requested trip.
3) Receive Tickets
Upon approval, we will coordinate the details of your trip over the phone or via email. Once completed, we will send you tickets.

Discounted Group Travel Availability:
The Discounted Group Travel fares are only available for trips during the following periods:
Blackout Periods:
Discounted Group Travel fares are not available during higher ridership periods. These fares are not valid during the following times:
School groups are still welcome to travel during the above blackout periods, however regular fares will apply for all individuals in the group during these times. Also, ferry service is first-come, first-served and we cannot guarantee your entire group will travel together if the ferry departure is very busy. Crews will stop boarding once the vessel reaches capacity.
Fares shown below are one-way, per person rates and only apply upon approval. These rates cover all travelers in the approved group which (including students & chaperones)
