Join Us!

Join San Francisco Bay Ferry for Ferry Fest – a day of family fun, delicious food and exciting activities to celebrate the Richmond community and service across the Bay. Attendance is free and all are welcome. Attractions at the outdoor festival include free ferry rides around the bay, food trucks, local vendors, live music, raffles and giveaways. Plus, Bike East Bay will be hosting a Bike Rodeo - ‘bring your own bike’ safety class free for kids. Register for the Bike Rodeo here. The Richmond Promise 5K will also be happening on June 11 and will be ending at the Craneway Pavilion to join in the Ferry Fest fun! Ferry Fest is sponsored by the Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA), the regional public agency that operates San Francisco Bay Ferry, in partnership with the Craneway Pavilion, Richmond Promise and Columbia Sportswear.

Where & When 

This event will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Richmond ferry terminal located at 1453 Harbour Way. Bring the family and join us for a fun-filled day on the waterfront. Registration is recommended here. 

Here's the schedule for the free waterfront tour rides:

  • 1:30 PM

Tours are approximately 25 minutes in length. Please note that regular ferry rides to San Francisco will not be offered for free.

By Ferry

By Bike

This event is being held at the Richmond Ferry Terminal directly on the San Francisco Bay Trail at Ford Point. We encourage cycling to this event and more information on this bike and pedestrian trail can be found here. 

By Car

Overflow parking will be provided for attendees of the this event. If you are riding the ferry, separate from this event, it is recommended that you arrive for your ferry departure earlier than usual. For information on parking and terminal amenities, please visit the Richmond Terminal Page.
