San Francisco Bay Ferry currently operate out the three gates south of the Ferry Building.

Terminal Access

Bicycles

Bike Racks: Various racks in broader Ferry Building area.

Bike Lockers: Not available in terminal area.

Bikes on Ferries: Bike are welcome onboard ferries on a space-available basis.

Bike Share: Offered in several locations around the terminal via Bay Wheels.

Connecting Transit

The terminal is a short walk from the Embarcadero Station, which offers connections to BART and Muni Metro.

Muni's F Market & Wharves line stops at the Ferry Building, which is adjacent to the terminal.

Golden Gate Ferry offers service to Angel Island and Marin County from Gate B at the terminal (north side of Ferry Building).

The Salesforce Transit Center is a half-mile walk from the terminal. This is a major regional bus hub.

Several employers offer private shuttles to transport commuters from the Ferry Terminal to their campuses. Contact your employer to find out if there's a shuttle available.

Parking

Limited paid parking is available near the terminal.

Restrooms

Restrooms are available inside the Ferry Building adjacent to the terminal as well as onboard ferries.
