San Francisco Bay Ferry will relaunch its service on July 1, enhancing the schedule in Vallejo and Richmond, resuming service for Harbor Bay, launching the new Alameda Seaplane route and revamping the Oakland & Alameda route to offer direct Oakland commute service to San Francisco. Weekend ferries on the Vallejo, Richmond and Oakland & Alameda routes will be back on July 3, and Oracle Park ferry service will be in swing. Did we mention that fares will be lower for the next year, as well?

This relaunch will also mean gate changes at the Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal, effective July 1.

Here are the new gate assignments effective July 1. Note that all San Francisco Bay Ferry service in Downtown San Francisco will now occur at the gates south of the Ferry Building.

Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal Queuing Map

Vallejo ferry service has historically operated out of Gate B on the north side of the Ferry Building. Beginning July 1, Vallejo ferry riders will disembark and board the ferry at Gate E on the south side of the Ferry Building every day of the week. Gate B will no longer be used for Vallejo ferry service as of July 1.

This map shows where Gate E is in relation to Gate B.

Please note that Richmond passengers will use Gate E on weekdays and Gate F on weekends.

Guest assistance representatives will be on hand at the Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal to help passengers find their queues and gates during this transition.
