This one is for the aspiring cinematographers and passionate storytellers. We’re looking for submissions that feature epic and visually striking onboard footage. Your task is to capture imagery that portrays a smooth, accessible passenger experience from boarding the ferry to disembarking against a backdrop of movie-worthy views of the Bay. From quiet sunrises to vibrant sunsets, we're inviting you to capture what you love about regularly taking the ferry.
We want your minute-by-minute replay showing how riding the ferry is time well spent. Include imagery like shots of timetables at transit stops, ferry terminals, the time on your car dashboard, phone, or watch. Film all the details, from pulling into your parking spot; waiting in line to board; tapping on and off with your Clipper card; walking on the gangway and greeting the crew; buying snacks and a coffee; using the onboard wifi; listening to your favorite playlist or podcast; and of course arriving punctually on the other side of the Bay.
We often hear great stories of riders making the most of their ferry trips. You might be styling your hair & make-up, having a light meal, or taking a power nap en route to your destination. No matter what goes into your daily routine, get bold and visually creative with these submissions. Maybe you'll film yourself wearing sleepwear or gym clothes, reading a cozy book & journaling, or sharing your mindfulness routines. Share how riding the ferry has the ultimate transit conveniences, all while connecting you across the Bay comfortably and reliably.
The creators of the first 200 eligible submissions will receive three (3) complimentary round-trip ferry tickets for participating. On the first day of summer (June 20, 2025), three Grand Prize winners will be directly notified to receive a summer’s worth of free ferry rides.

The deadline for submissions has passed. You may submit multiple times, and you will receive three (3) complimentary round-trip ferry tickets per submission. All submissions must include a valid email address and meet listed requirements. By submitting your video(s), you confirm that you have read and understood the contest terms, and agree to the outlined grants of rights.

Only supported video files (.MP4 or .MOV) that are a maximum of 100MB in size will be accepted. Files must be submitted in raw, unedited format to be considered eligible.
