September 22: The contractor drove four foundation piles for the future plaza along the north side of the lagoon near the Ferry Building and began driving Gate G foundation piles. They will continue to drive plaza and gate piles over the next several weeks.

September 15: The contractor installed 6 piles along the north side of the lagoon near the Ferry Building for the future plaza. They will continue to work their way out of the lagoon over the next several weeks. The contractor also finished the installation of the southernmost set of promenade foundation piles near Pier 14 on the south side of the Agriculture Building. The contractor will begin installing piles for the Gate G promenade next week.

September 8: The contractor continued to drive foundation piles for the future plaza along the north side of the lagoon near the Ferry building. The contractor also continued with the installation of the second set of pedestrian bridge foundation piles near the seawall on the south side of the Agricultural building.

September 1: The contractor continued to drive foundation piles for the future plaza along the north side of the lagoon near the Ferry Building. The contractor also began to construct the pile driving template in preparation for the installation of the second set of pedestrian bridge foundation piles to be installed near the seawall on the south side of the Agricultural Building.

August 25: The contractor continued to drive foundation piles for the future plaza in the lagoon along the seawall between the Ferry building and the Agricultural building. The contractor also drove two foundation piles for the future pedestrian bridge on the south side of the Agricultural building. The partial solar eclipse did not affect construction this week, however it did bring out many onlookers to the surrounding piers to view this amazing event.

August 18: The contractor continued to install foundation piling for the future plaza in the lagoon along the seawall between the Ferry building and the Agricultural building. Work also continued on cutting and cleaning-up the already installed promenade foundation piles east of the Agricultural Building. The contractor also began installing pile driving templates in the water on south side of the Agricultural Building to prepare for the installation of the pedestrian bridge foundation piles.

August 11: The contractor began to drive foundation piles to support the future plaza in the lagoon area near the embarcadero seawall. Work also continued on installation of foundation piles for the future promenade east of the Agricultural Building.

August 4: The contractor finished sweeping the lagoon bottom of debris allowing for the mobilization of the flexi-float crane barge into the lagoon area. Upon entering the lagoon, the contractor began to construct the foundation pile driving templates for the first row of piles to be driven along the seawall. Concurrently, the contractor also built the next foundation pile driving template to drive foundation piles to support the future promenade east of the Agricultural Building.

July 28: The contractor finished removing obstructions and debris to clear the way for the crane mounted barge to the enter the lagoon for upcoming pile driving work. Installation of foundation pilings for the future promenade continued east of the Agricultural Building moving north closer to the lagoon and the Ferry Building.

July 21: The contractor completed the demolition of the Pier 2 wharf and moved into the lagoon area to begin preparation for pile driving operations. The foundation pile driving continued for the new promenade east of the Agricultural Building with work moving further to the north towards the Ferry Building.
